You may believe that the Bible holds the truth about the way to salvation but haven’t yet made the decision to fully commit to following Jesus. It’s simpler than you might think—just start with a heartfelt prayer. You don’t need fancy words or rehearsed lines; simply pray from your heart to God, and He will meet you right where you are.

If you’re feeling unsure of what to say, here’s a prayer of salvation to help guide you as you take this life-changing step toward a relationship with Christ:

Dear Lord,

I come before You, acknowledging that I am a sinner. I’ve made choices that have taken me far from You, and I am deeply sorry. I turn away from my past and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You, Jesus, died on the cross to save me—a gift I could never earn on my own.

Today, I surrender my life to You. Take control, Lord; my life is Yours. Guide me each day to walk in a way that honors and pleases You. Thank You for Your unfailing love and the promise of eternity with You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What is the purpose of Water Baptism?

Water Baptism is the command of the Lord Jesus Christ (Mark 16:16)

Water Baptism is an outward act by which we publicly declare that we have repented of sins and have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior.

Water Baptism is symbolic—it portrays the fact that, by faith, we have identified ourselves with Christ in His death (we are buried under the waters) and in His resurrection (we are raised out of the waters).

Baptism Services are scheduled several times throughout the year.

Our next Baptism is TBD.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend as we celebrate with those taking the next step in their spiritual journey.

Who Should Be Baptized?

• Every person who has made the decision to believe in Christ.
• Acts 2:41 – “Those who believed and accepted His message were baptized.”
• Acts 8:12 – “But when they believed Philip as he preached the Good News … and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.”
• The one requirement for baptism is belief in Christ. We do not baptize children until they are old enough to understand and believe.
